At Trinity Baptist Church it is our privilege and joy to teach the Bible to children. Most Sunday mornings the children will sit in the service for around 20 minutes before going out to their Explorers group in the back hall.

During their lesson the Explorers leader will read God's word together with them, play games or do a craft to help drive home these bible truths to their hearts. Whether you are visiting for the first time or regular with us, all primary age children are welcome to join us for Explorers.

Once a month the children stay with the church family in the service. There is a small 'library' of children's books at the front of  the church for children to read during these services if desired.

Under 4's - As we are able, there are creche helpers who are able to look after younger children during the service so that their parents/carers can stay in the service. Alternatively we have an upstairs room where the service is relayed through audio so those with children can still feel part of the service should they need to go out with  their child.

Please check before the service to see what the arrangement for your child will be that morning.

Four times a year we run Fun Nights for primary age children and toddlers. These are a great opportunity for our community to get to know us as a church and for us to share with them the good news about Jesus Christ. Families can book in for free with their children to this two hour party where we do crafts, play some games, listen to short talk and have some food together.

Whilst children look forward to the long summer holidays, it can be quite a challenging time for parents to keep children occupied! This year's Explorers picnic will be on .... We meet on Tenterden Recreation Ground at 12pm for an informal time of games and food with a short thought for the day. It's a lovely time to enjoy the sunshine, God's beautiful creation and catch up with one another. All are welcome.
